This an Elective course in the Art of HR Certificate program. At some point, every organization is faced with navigating an extended leave request. We get it – you want to focus on employees’ wellbeing and don’t want to lose key people but accommodating prolonged time off can cause stress levels to skyrocket. Between understanding new legislated leaves and clarifying the intricacies of different leave types, there’s a lot to know. Couple that with the complex HR challenges and risks that accompany extended time off and you’ve got a real juggling act! The good news? Accommodating employee leaves doesn’t have to be so complicated. Join us for The Art of Leave Management, where we’ll be exploring real-world, practical strategies for navigating the leave management process and providing practical tips and tools to promote a smooth return to work. This event occurs over two half-days: Tuesday, November 30th & Thursday, December 2nd from 9:30 am-12:30 pm PST.
