VIATEC is hosting a Summer Tech Together BBQ! Join us on August 23rd from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM for an afternoon of summer good times. Bring out your kids, have some fun, enjoy the BBQ, and ride the trains!

Tech Together Event Agenda

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Open to the Public: Join us for a fun-filled afternoon! Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Enjoy a variety of activities, including:

• BBQ (Food available for purchase)
• 1-on-1 Basketball Showdown
• Human Hungry Hippos
• MEGA Obstacle Course
• Bubble 3v3 Soccer
• IPS Shooting Game
• 9 Hole Mini Golf
• Gel Blaster Target Showdown
• VR Archery

Summer Games Team Practice: Summer Games Teams are welcome to practice during this time. Get ready and gear up for the competition!

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Train Rides: Hop aboard the train! Perfect for kids and the young at heart. The train rides are free, so bring the whole family!

4:00 PM

Tech Sector Networking: The networking portion of the event begins, offering an opportunity for tech professionals to connect and engage.

4:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Tectoria Summer Games (Geek Olympics): Let the games begin! Compete in the Tectoria Summer Games, where teams from the tech community will showcase their skills and battle it out in fun, geeky challenges.

VIATEC Geek Olympics! (4pm start)

I know what you’ve been waiting for and we are finally ready to announce the actual activities and events we have planned for the Summer Tech Together (and 1st annual Geek Olympics)!

• 1-on-1 Basketball: Arcade-style free throws. Fast-paced, head-to-head action. Timed with a scoreboard to keep you on your toes!
  
  
• Human Hungry Hippos: You ARE the hippo in this life-sized version of the classic game. How many points can you score? 🦛
  
  
• Mega Obstacle Course: Think American Ninja Warrior, but safe…and inflatable! Over 100 feet of challenges to test your agility and courage.
  
  
• Bumper Balls Sports Arena: Imagine soccer but in a 3-foot inflatable orb and playing with a 6-foot ball. It’s ridiculous, it’s fun, and you’ll be talking about it for weeks.
  
  
• Nerf Target Game: Carnival vibes with a modern twist. Battle head to head. Take aim and hit the targets for points. Easy, right? We’ll see about that.
  
  
• Mini Golf: You know the drill on this one.
  
  
• Gelblasters Timed Skill Course: Similar to paintball but less intense. Ever watch Keanu Reeves train for a John Wick movie? Well, you’re Keanu and we have 20 targets for you to hit as fast as you can!
• VR Archery: Plug in to a whole other world and test your archery skills against your colleagues and friends!

Don't have a team? No problem! Sign up here as an independent, and we’ll pair you with other lone wolves to form a team of tech champions. 🏆

Tickets: (this includes your meal from the BBQ!): $20 for members, $30 for non-members, and kids 12 and under free BBQ!
