Job Description:

LlamaZOO is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, building and managing a sales pipeline, and closing key opportunities in our business sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and a strong background in selling software solutions to both small businesses and enterprises, with experience in data and analytics solutions.


  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand LlamaZOO's reach and customer base
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key customers and partners
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and build new channels of revenue
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and international business development team to drive growth and increase market share
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and build relationships
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business development strategies
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of LlamaZOO's products and services and their value proposition
  • Negotiate and close deals with customers and partners to drive growth and revenue.


  • 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in a startup environment
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and channels of revenue
  • Knowledge of market trends, competitor analysis, and market research
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, and experience in a relevant industry (e.g. Natural Resources, Smart Cities, Manufacturing, ESG), or a Master's degree in Business Administration with relevant work experience
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including international business development teams
  • Self-starter with a track record of driving growth and achieving results
  • Understanding of the digital transformation landscape, with a willingness to become a subject matter expert in relevant technologies.
