Alacrity Canada is actively seeking a vibrant and organized individual to join the team as Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative program in Victoria, BC.
The Business Development (BD) Manager will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing of the Digital Marketing Bootcamp Program of Alacrity Canada (aka Alacrity Academy). The BD Manager is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing partner relationships and creating a steady stream of revenue. The BD Manager will engage with all executive team members to ensure that a comprehensive plan is created, taking into account business strategies in place. This is a major role within Alacrity and requires an awareness of all aspects of the operations of the Digital Marketing Bootcamp.
Activities will include but are not limited to reviewing the current partnership agreements, engaging with partners to ensure a proper strategy is in place to deliver on target, and creating new opportunities by actively seeking untapped funnels of customers, clients and potential partners.
Responsible for ongoing partner acquisition and managing partnerships.
Collaborate with senior management and the marketing team to align on company and brand objectives.
Identify, create and present partnership and activation strategies which build Alacrity's brand in existing and new markets.
Establish a recognized presence in North America by identifying relevant brand building events, experiences or opportunities.
Lead the development and execute creative experiential marketing concepts and strategies which demonstrate Alacrity's authentic commitment to the students it serves.
Deliver a great experience to our partners when working with Alacrity, and nurture ongoing relationships with partners.
Evaluate, report & track the results of activations, offers, and partnerships, making recommendations on improvements & optimizations as required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in business development.
Minimum of 1 year of education or experience in Digital Marketing.
Bachelor's degree in business or related field is an asset.
Proficient in project management software tools.
Advanced time management and analytical skills.
Excellent client-facing communication skills.
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
Experience in the not-for-profit or tech sector is an asset.
