Business Solution Manager (Regular Full Time)

Victoria is a leading-edge capital city that embraces the future and builds on the past, where human well-being and the environment are priorities and where the community feels valued, heard and understood.

The IT Department at the City has been rolling out transformational hyperscale cloud technology solutions across the organization for over six years. SaaS, PaaS and IaaS are transforming how IT departments around the globe deliver and support business applications and technology solutions within their organization. The City is embarking on a digital transformation which depends on innovative and robust IT solutions, privacy and security by design and the strong governance needed to support it all. Hyperscale cloud levels the playing field and lets municipal IT departments focus on business value rather than keeping the lights on. The Pandemic has shown how essential agility and scalability are in delivering IT services now and into the future.

The City of Victoria is recruiting for a Business Solutions Manager who leads the Business Solutions Division within the IT Department. This position is responsible for the City’s Enterprise IT Project Portfolio Management, Business Applications Portfolio, Business Analysis and internal Application Development.
