Our rapidly growing business means we need to add to our sales team. We are seeking an Electromechanical Support Specialist who will work under the direction of the Manager of Engineering.

The Electromechanical Support Specialist conducts technical support and provides problem solving, primarily via telephone and email, directly with end users, to diagnose and resolve product and installation issues. The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Conducting technical support using problem solving, primarily via telephone and email, directly with end users, diagnosing and resolving product and Installation Issues.
  • Receive, investigate and process warranty claims, including maintaining and entering information into databases
  • Create and maintain product documentation
  • Create knowledge base content and publish content as required
  • Provide technical content for website and other marketing material
  • Support product testing and evaluation
  • Assist in both mechanical and electrical product design  
  • Provides general backup support for order entry and other customer related needs.

The ideal applicant would work effectively within a small team while providing and maintaining the highest level of customer service to both external customers and Go Power! team members. They would also possess:

  • A diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Possess knowledge in electrical power systems including batteries, converters, inverters and AC power, solar controllers, solar panels and wiring
  • Experience with hand tools and common diagnostic equipment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage and prioritize tasks
  • and a minimum of 1 year experience in a fast-paced workplace
