One of our four portfolio companies, Leadpages is our marketing-focused website builder product to help our clients generate leads to attract customers. We are a no-code, drag-and-drop platform which is the powerful new wave of online marketing. We are 40 people strong and are the newest addition to Redbrick’s portfolio companies.

What does a day look like in my role?
Your primary responsibilities are building complex web applications with an emphasis on scalability, maintainability, security, and performance. The talented individual selected to lead a team will be passionate about writing clean code surrounded by unit tests, designing great architecture and delivering high quality applications. You have a driving passion for Agile software development, believe in collaboration and innovation, and possess a strong background in the SaaS space. Your focus is on the technology stewardship of the team you are leading and is to ensure we rapidly ship high quality software to support our scaling and growing business!
We get it: You need to know what you’re applying for before you sign up, right? This is what you need to know: As our Engineering Tech Lead, you’ll be responsible for:
-Lead the team toward the best technical solution for functionalities required within the product.
-Lead Team and unblock technical impediments.
-Support the team as an individual contributor.
-Coordinate with the other Team Leads and Engineering leadership when defining new designs and solutions.
-Suggest initiatives to improve current processes and technologies.
-Takes part in, and actively promotes pair programming and in-person code reviews among the team
-Advocates for high-quality standards in the team's work. Holds members accountable for adequately testing code. Encourages integration and automated end-to-end testing best practices.
-Available to rotate into the emergency on-call schedule. Partners with other teams to gain general systems architecture understanding. Able to provide basic triage-level emergency support.
-Key collaborator with Product Management and UX team members leveraging teams’ strengths to organize and deliver value to customers
-Role models customer-backed thinking, engages the team in interviews, market training and development of requirements to understand customer needs
After 1 week
-You will be introduced to the Engineering and leadership team and get a sense of how your role will be incorporated into the company
-You will begin to establish relationships with your direct reports and other leaders
After 1 month
-You will understand our product roadmap and begin to dive into our initiatives
-You will be confidently leading and supporting your team in pair programming and in-person code reviews
After 6 months
-Begin developing new initiatives and goals for the team
-You will be supporting your team on a large project by defining a clear vision, objective and goals
What we would like to see in you.
-Bachelors or advanced degree in IT, computer science, engineering, business, design, human-computer interaction or related field or equivalent work experience
-8+ years of professional experience as a back-end developer or
-8+ years of professional experience with JS and frameworks such as React and Angular
-Key skills in building high-reliability Python applications
-Key skills with cloud platforms, containers and Kubernetes
-Domain-Driven Design and Micro-service architectures.
-Ability to convincingly articulate complex analytical ideas in a simple way to a variety of key stakeholders from different functions
-Strong leader, educator, and coaching skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CD/CI) pipelines
-Experience working in an agile environment with code review.
