The Opportunity:

Advanced Solutions is looking for community-minded, energetic, progressive individuals to join its Human Resources team. The Human Resource Services (HRS) Team supports the organization to meet its goals by providing a full range of strategic and operational Human Resources services and programs. Working within a small tight-knit group, the Human Resources (HR) Generalist will report to the Manager, HR.

Application Requirements

Must Have

• A Degree, Diploma, or Certification in a related discipline such as Human Resources, Business, or Public Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;

• 3-5 years related experience working in a human resources or payroll environment, preferably in a Union environment;

• Experience working in an environment with confidential and sensitive information;

• Experience with complex human resource or payroll information system (or equivalent);

• Experience providing advice and guidance to clients on collective agreements, policies, and processes;

• Experience working with and meeting strict deadlines;

• Experience developing and delivering training to a wide range of audience members;

• Experience using SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word and Excel; and

• Project Management experience or certification would be considered an asset.

• Salary Grid Level: Level 18, Schedule 1

• Annual Salary: $70,095.65 - $79,546.25 (based on a 40 hour work-week)

• Office Location: Remote
