As part of the Planning and Delivery team, the IT Technical Analyst (ITA) is a collaborative role that works closely with colleagues in IT-Services and university stakeholders in support of the delivery of value driven technology solutions. 

This role participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle process including solutions planning, development/testing and delivery into operations. In addition to the appropriate technical skills, communication and team collaboration skills are mandatory as the ITA will work closely with stakeholders and colleagues.

The ITA takes responsibility for engaging and interacting with business stakeholders seeking out opportunities for efficiency gains and requirements gathering to pass along to team members for development. The ITA will then ensure the product aligns with the business expectations throughout the SDLC and the business has mature enough processes to support delivery.

The ITA is responsible for project coordination to ensure delivery is on time and aligns with the proposed budget.

Job Requirements

- Degree or diploma in a technical discipline

- Project certification

- 3+ years experience in solution analysis

- Experience in integrated applications analysis with complex business processes

- Regular check-ins with stakeholders 

- Gathering user stories, business requirements and translation into technical requirements

- Coordinating projects during lifecycle and producing artifacts as required

- Experience in project artifact development such as workplan development, resource planning, milestone identification, status reports and project charters

- Other duties as required
