Network Systems Analyst - North Island College
Design, install, monitor, support, maintain and document the network and related systems logical and physical infrastructure
Reporting to the Manager, IT Infrastructure, and working under minimal supervision, the Network Systems Analyst is a member of the IT department and is responsible for researching, designing, installing, maintaining, and administering NIC’s data and voice infrastructure, server systems, network operating system(s), E-mail system(s), web servers and other related systems and services. The Network Systems Analyst will utilize IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices in applying proven and accepted communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate and resolve issues directly or indirectly affecting all college systems.
Qualifications for this role include Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related program with an emphasis on the design and administration of Network Operating Systems and the design and implementation of Network and Information Systems hardware and infrastructure.
Relevant, current, advanced-level, industry certifications such as ITIL, MCSE or equivalent
More than five years of directly related experience and acquiring detailed, in-depth knowledge in the administration and management of Network and Server systems infrastructure.
