Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer with a strong background in TwinCAT/Structured text, Siemens or Allen-Bradley (AB) PLC programming. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in component selection, motion control, schematic design, GUI development, and system integration. You have a thirst to explore new solutions, to participate in design and for continuous learning. If you also possess knowledge in camera systems and print systems, you're the perfect fit for our team.

Responsibilities:

- Program and configure PLCs for various automation projects.

- Select appropriate components and hardware to meet project specifications.

- Create and update electrical schematics for control systems.

- Develop user-friendly GUIs for control and monitoring purposes.

- Integrate various automation components and systems seamlessly.

- Utilize camera systems for quality control and inspection (experience is a plus).

- Apply knowledge of print systems to enhance production processes (experience is a plus).

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Proven experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC programming.

- Strong understanding of electrical components and hardware selection.

- Proficiency in creating and updating electrical schematics.

- GUI development skills for HMI (Human-Machine Interface).

- Experience with system integration and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with camera systems (an asset).

- Knowledge of print systems (an asset).

- Drivers license and passport as occasional travel may be required.
