The opportunity is a 14 month fixed term where you will focus on the payment products at the core of our online and in-store product offering. You will work with leading payments professionals, technology vendors, merchants, and high-profile clients. You will draw from Bambora’s deep expertise in payments technology, business processes and risk management to shape the future of a global payment platform.
Take responsibility for your product suite by leading a cross functional team to effect positive change on the business.
Track, share and improve key metrics related to your product suite.
Work closely with our customers, the product team and key internal stakeholders to define strategy and roadmap.
Define releases and coordinate all activities to bring the product to market.
Act as voice of the customer and be passionate about the end to end customer experience.
Responsible for conveying the market needs to the development team.
Drive stakeholder/customer validation and ongoing continuous improvement (build, measure and learn).
Act as a single point of contact and owner of the activities within the product suite.
Work with development teams to understand key milestones and timelines in order to manage iterative delivery for various initiatives simultaneously throughout each release.
Proactively work within the team to identify risks, prioritize them and create plans to resolve in a timely manner.
Provide feedback to the development and technical support teams regarding user issues and feature requests.
Completing, documenting, and triaging software issue reports and feature requests using leading product development tools.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate objectives, market problems, and requirements.
A history of being customer-focused and comfortable engaging customers and channel partners as needed to capture and fully define requirements and market opportunities.
Exceptional organization skills to manage numerous competing priorities.
Experience working in an Agile development environment, accountable for one or more development streams.
Experience writing clear and contextual user stories and mockups where appropriate.
Ability to work closely with Development; collaborating for requirements, understanding and challenging estimates, and encouraging communication throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
A passion for payments, ecommerce and finding the right solution.
Ability to think outside the box and be highly creative.
Demonstrated effectiveness in consensus building, time management, issue escalation, planning, organizing, and project management.
3+ years of experience working within a product team or development group
2+ years of experience working in an agile development environment
Experience in the payments industry is an asset
University degree in Business or Computer Science is an asset
