Location: Remote First; US/Canada/UK travel 10%


The Role


At Echosec, we illuminate the world’s hard-to-reach data. We take pride in developing products
that deliver convenient access to millions of social data posts, complement our user’s analytical
workflow, and produce timely insights for our customers. A product manager at Echosec should
want to grow professionally in their pursuit of these goals. You will work cross-functionally to
shepherd products from concept to launch by breaking down complex problems into steps that
inspire the evolution of the product.


As a Product Manager, you will support the product team in managing existing applications and
the development of new products. In order to develop innovative products and features, it will
also be your responsibility to study the Threat Intelligence and Open-source Intelligence markets
to understand customer problems, outline solution requirements, and facilitate human-centered
design.


You should be comfortable blending business and technical understanding to lead product
decisions through analysis, market research, customer interview, and iteration. You should have
excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoy working with people since you will
be communicating with customers and all departments in the company.


In this role, you will be a part of a product team and will have mentorship to introduce you to

Responsibilities


● Learn independently; train in the methods and tools (Jira, etc.) of product management
with the support of experienced colleagues.
● Perform regular interviews with customers to identify current market problems.
● Understand competition, markets, and customer requirements.
● Provide support in the creation of strategic proposals based on market research,
analysis (competitor, SWOT, segmentation, etc.), evaluations (KPIs, product profitability),
and business plans.
● Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate.
● Carry out a successful Go-to-Market strategy together with sales/marketing.
● Work collaboratively with engineering, customer success, marketing, and UX.


Requirements


● Bachelor’s degree or experience in software, open-source intelligence , or product
management
           ○ Previous experience in a product or software shipping role is preferred, but not
              required

● Great people skills and good communication skills
● Strong analytical, strategic and coordinating skills
● A high degree of personal initiative, learning ability and willingness to learn are a basic
prerequisite
● An interest in global geo-politics
● The role of a Junior Product Manager requires approximately 10% travel to customers
and non-customers in the United States, Canada, and the U.K.
