Alacrity Canada is actively seeking a vibrant and organized individual to join the team as Project Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and entrepreneurial team in Victoria, B.C.
About the Role:
This role will receive functional direction from the Program Manager. This role is responsible for corresponding with applicants and portfolio companies, providing a high level analysis of application files, and continual support of the team to ensure reporting requirements are met. The Project Coordinator will engage with the management team to ensure that a comprehensive plan devised by the Program Manager is adhered to and completed in a timely manner.
Activities will include, but are not limited to: reviewing communication with team members and external partners, engaging with applicants, reviewing application forms and ensuring all documentation is present. This role is key to the success of the program and will require extreme attention to detail.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Providing customer service to applicants in various programs;
Supporting the application process;
Reviewing and corresponding via Email with internal and external stakeholders;
Collaborating with the Program Manager on creating business and financial plans;
Providing accurate and up-to-date marketing plans;
Supporting the CRM integration for all programs with existing systems.
Qualities Alacrity looks for in a candidate:
A recent graduate with a degree in business or marketing;
Minimum 6 months experience in a business or marketing role;
Strong entrepreneurial spirit;
A self-starter who works well to encourage teamwork;
Enjoys new tasks and is motivated by finding new opportunities;
Takes initiative and is a creative problem-solver;
Strong administrative skills;
Knowledgeable in regards to CRMs;
Project coordinator/marketing background an asset.
