Who are we and what do we do?

RFDM Solutions is a boutique marketing and technology consulting firm based in downtown Victoria. We create cutting edge digital marketing campaigns, websites, and custom software solutions for clients all over North America. We do this for industries as diverse as fashion, healthcare, cybersecurity, non-profit, venture capital, and satellite imaging. We are full stack marketing and sales technology experts, and our services include Digital Marketing and Marketing Automation, Website Development, CRM Solutions, and Custom Cloud Application development.

What is the job all about?

In your role as the Project Manager – Marketing and Business Solutions, you will be playing a key role in driving RFDM Solutions marketing and business automation practice by project managing the design and implementation of technology-related projects for our clients. This role is a mix of planning and project management, business analysis and client management. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan and drive the execution of projects related to marketing and business automation implementation, enhancements or integrations with CRM or other databases.
  • Plan the project tasks, set milestones, and identify risks and dependencies while managing execution of deliverables based on scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Coordinate with clients, as well as manage internal project teams.
  • Report on project success metrics and progress.
  • Contribute to business solution design, including planning and leading discovery and solutioning sessions, gathering clients’ business requirements, and delivering quality documentation.
  • Flag and manage risks and resolve issues and escalations.

What kind of skills and experience do you need to have?

The main skills and experience we would need you to have are:

  • The ability to communicate professionally via email, phone/web conference, and in person. Preference will go to candidates who can demonstrate experience and success in managing client relationships in a deadline driven environment.

  • Marketing and business automation experience in a B2B or B2C environment. CRM (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce) or related experience an asset.

  • Strong ability to lead, direct work of others, and work in cross-functional teams.

  • Strong ability to interact with a client’s executive team and stakeholders, and demonstrate strategic understanding of business needs and processes, particularly sales and marketing.

  • Solid understanding of marketing concepts and best practices, especially in data segmentation, email marketing, and B2B/B2C journeys.

  • Knowledge of mobile, social, online advertising/retargeting, and ecommerce are definite assets.

  • A thorough understanding of marketing/sales pipeline practices, KPIs and reporting.

  • Advanced skills in project management tools.

  • Certification/s in HubSpot or Salesforce an asset.

With respect to experience, it would be great to hear from candidates that have at least a year or two working in a similar role, but we are also willing to train the right candidate that can demonstrate they are proficient in the above skill sets and are willing to commit to filling their gaps in knowledge through some rapid on the job training.

What is the offer?

The role is full-time, Mon-Fri, based on a standard 7.5-hour workday. The compensation offered will be based on your skills and previous work experience. We also offer a generous extended heath plan, sick days and three weeks paid vacation to start.
