Quester Tangent is adding a QA Process Analyst to our Quality team. We are seeking an experienced professional interested in performing a vital role in the development and maintenance of our Quality Management System.
You will be involved across the spectrum of our business, ensuring compliance with several standards, including ISO 9001. You will ensure that processes across the organization are well-designed, implemented with training, maintained, and monitored.
Today’s passenger trains contain dozens of electronic control units that communicate through Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks. Quester Tangent is an established and growing Canadian company that designs and manufactures train control and monitoring systems and passenger information systems that are an integral part of these networks.

How you will spend your time:
Ensure that the quality system requirements described in this Quality System Overview are established, implemented and maintained;
Create, edit and update Quality Documents as processes evolve.
Manage the Quality Library to ensure its proper use.
Support initiatives for the continual improvement of the Quality Management System.
Conduct internal project and process audits with support from the Quality Manager.
Track major incident management process and ensure adherence of the process and escalation requirements within the various support and delivery areas.
Participate in process improvement planning and implementation of new processes.
Create process documentation/workflows, knowledge articles and self-service guidance.
Collect and document of business requirements for project and process improvement/automation efforts.
Conduct training on new processes.
Support the Quality Manager in daily operations.
All work is performed at the office. The ability to travel is not a requirement for this position, but travel opportunities may be available if the applicant shows interest and aptitude for working in the field (only when it is again safe to do so).
The salary will vary depending on education level and years of experience. Quester Tangent offers a competitive benefits package, quarterly personal days, and flex-time hours.
What you will need to succeed:
- A Bachelor’s degree in technology-related discipline.
- Relevant QA training and courses – ASQ certification is an asset.
- 3 years QA experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel SharePoint).
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Creative thinking and analytical skills.
- Passion for process improvement.
Experiences that will help you thrive:
- Hands-on experience auditing a Quality Management System.
- Completion of relevant ISO auditing courses.
- Experience leading a team project and/or working in a team environment.
