Provide leadership for the development and successful growth of a Cybersecurity practice


The Security Practice Lead provides leadership for the development and successful growth of a Cybersecurity practice, encompassing all security elements of Charter services and products. This includes providing expertise and direction on security practices, goals and expectations to customers, sales and pre-sales team members, Project, Managed and Support team members, other Advisory and Consulting Services leads as well as other Charter professionals.

The Security Practice Lead is accountable for the development and consistent improvement of security capabilities to improve integration of security and business technology for Charter customers.


Key Accountabilities:

-Manage and deliver a comprehensive portfolio of cybersecurity services and set the strategic direction for the development of this line of business

-Work with the Company leadership team to grow an outstanding, high-performing team/network of professionals, which includes delivery consultants, architects and security domain experts and specialized testing, monitoring and maintenance personnel

-Develop intellectual property, including methodologies, solutions, accelerators, and tools to enable the practice to be recognized as a leader in the field of cybersecurity

-Build relationships with end clients, translate their business problems into practical solutions, and drive the growth of the practice through account focus and service differentiation

-Foster, develop, and maintain relationships with technical counterparts at key vendor partners

-Build strategic and collaborative ecosystem partnerships with leading product and services firms in the industry


Key Qualifications:

-10+ years' experience, including 2 years of leadership experience, in a combination of technology, IT security deployments, IT risk management, or IT compliance roles

-Experience in leading projects, teams and business units which need to understand and implement security practices and/or programs

-Proven ability to lead a team responsible for delivering multiple concurrent projects

-Ability to establish strong working relationships

-Strong, effective, and knowledgeable presentation skills

-Knowledge of assurance, governance risk and control frameworks including COBIT, ISO, NIST, Service Organization Controls (SOC) Reporting -Standards sufficient to provide subject matter expertise in applying IT risk and control concepts

-Proactive, action-oriented individual

-Strong interpersonal communications (In-person, phone, email, collaborations tools such as WebEx)

-Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word), project and time reporting/scheduling tools
