Senior Business Analyst
 $72,724.97 - $83,014.85 annually plus 9.9% Temporary Market Adjustment

The Senior Business Analyst provides business analysis/consulting services and plans ongoing business and technology needs consistent with government and ministry business requirements to support a new cross government service. This role manages the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the new service as well as develop and manage on-going client governance processes and provides expert advice to Ministry Rolling Refresh Leads and Service Managers.

 Qualifications for this role include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field such as Computer Science or Information Technology and a minimum of 3 years’ experience providing business analysis to multiple stakeholders in an IM/IT enterprise environment; OR equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience planning business and technology consistent with strategic plans, system standards and interfacing requirements.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with IM/IT Project Management including change management and project management methodologies.
  • Experience monitoring the work of vendors or monitoring the performance of contracted information technology services.  
  • Minimum of 1 year experience developing, managing and supporting new programs and services. Preferences may be given to applicants with three (3) or more years of experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience providing business analysis on high risk projects.
