If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our talented IS/IT team as a Senior Infrastructure Analyst in Victoria, BC or Toronto, ON.
As the Senior Infrastructure Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring its optimal performance and security. You will help lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and capabilities. Reporting to the VP of IS/IT, you will contribute to strategic planning and the successful execution of IT infrastructure projects.

Your day as a Senior Infrastructure Analyst may include:
- Oversee and manage the organization's IT infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization platforms
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members, ensuring efficient resource allocation and workload distribution
- Implement and maintain infrastructure systems to ensure high availability, scalability, security, and optimal performance
- Develop, document, and enforce IT infrastructure policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and execute infrastructure projects aligned with business objectives

Our ideal candidate for this role brings:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience in a similar role as an IT infrastructure administrator or related position in a complex multi-location IT environment
- Any management experience will be considered a plus, with a focus on motivating and inspiring team members to excel
- Experience supporting multiple locations in a multi-environment setup, including site-to-site VPN, VPN tunnels, and wide area network solutions
- Excellent knowledge of the principles, methodologies, tools, and techniques utilized in providing technical desktop support
- Experience and knowledge in information technology information library (ITIL) methodologies
These skills and abilities will help you thrive:
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 for Enterprise
- Extensive experience with networking, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Proficient in managing virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V
- Experience with SAN/NAS storage systems, including configuration and maintenance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technology issues
