$72,724.97- $83,014.85 annually (effective April 11, 2021) plus 9.9% Temporary Market Adjustment


British Columbia’s Natural Resource Ministries (NRM) are the stewards of the Province’s Crown land and natural resources which reflect the diverse values and interests of all British Columbians. The Information, Innovation and Technology Division is leading the modernization and transformation of business practices for the NRM through continuous improvement projects, new technology options and operational information management/information technology (IM/IT).

The Senior Scrum Master leads a team of Scrum Masters/Project Managers and is responsible for leading technology project planning, design, implementation and close out, and for the management of the agile sprint process for scrum teams.

Qualifications for this role include:

    Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Experience facilitating events to define terms of reference, product roadmaps, release planning workshops and identifying the proper agile framework to use based on project needs.

    Experience delivering training to teams and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum related topics.

    Experience developing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

    Experience managing conflict and competing priorities to support value driven product decisions

    Experience coaching teams and Product Owners through change.

    24 months of experience, within the last 5 years, on agile project or service design.

    Certification as a Scrum Master.

    Proficient in Agile lifecycle management practices and tools.

    Practical experience in Agile software development methodologies.
