The Role

We are hiring an experienced Software Engineering Manager. Our critical communications console systems software is designed in-house by our cross-functional agile teams. Our console software stack primarily consists of C#, C/C++, and WPF running on a Windows platform.

What Are We Looking For?

· A B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent education, or experience in a relevant field.

· Broad technical background including experience with multiple programming languages and technologies.

· Experience managing people across multiple teams and product lines.

· Experience managing remote employees.

· Experience managing people in an agile development environment.

· Experience hiring, managing, and upskilling developers.

· Experience building cross-functional agile teams.

· Experience working with CI/CD.

· Experience working with Linux and Windows Development environments.

· Ability to contribute to requirements analysis and systems architecture design as needed.

· Ability to achieve business goals while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

· Ability to spot and track issues on development teams.

· Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Bonus Points if you have any of the following:

· Experience as a Software Architect.

· Experience in Change Management.

· Experience in Cyber Security.

· Previous experience in LMR (Land Mobile Radio), Emergency Communications, 911 Dispatch, or VOIP.

· Previous experience with virtualization, containerization, or embedded systems design.

· Previous experience working with Azure DevOps
