Your mission:

To validate, verify, and report on the quality of our software products. You’ll review customer and technical requirements and ensure we design, execute, and report suitable acceptance and system tests. We’ll automate relevant tests for continuous regression.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and execute software test plans for new features and products
  • Perform manual testing with some automated testing
  • Develop test tools and testing processes
  • Validate test plans and processes
  • Verify functional requirements
  • Track and analyze bugs
  • Aid in defining testable acceptance criteria
  • Mentor new employees and co-op students
  • Troubleshoot to verify and diagnose cause of issues

This role might be right for you if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • Experience writing test plans, executing tests, and assessing defects in software
  • A keen eye for detail with the ability to isolate problems to repeatable steps
  • A firm understanding of web and desktop application environments
  • Agile software experience (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with automated acceptance testing
  • General networking skills (setting up and troubleshooting networks)
