This position provides the opportunity to support VertiGIS North America global business development by defining and bringing to life solutions that demonstrate the business value of VertiGIS Studio. You’ll support one-to-one and one-to-many interactions, promoting and advising on the value of VertiGIS Studio — over the phone, in the boardroom, and on the big stage! Fundamental to this role is the ability to build applications that show how VertiGIS Studio technology and Web GIS solve real world problems — starting with the business problem through to the technology solution.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical and product expertise to our sales team, prospective customers, and partners during the sales process
- Create and showcase VertiGIS Studio demonstration solutions for prospective customers and partners
- Develop and maintain an enterprise level demonstration environment, that includes both VertiGIS Studio and Esri technologies
- Coordinate the resolution of technical/product issues that arise during the sales process
- Work with customers and partners to maximize the benefits of VertiGIS Studio technology
- Translate prospect business requirements into architecture and design specifications that align with VertiGIS and Esri’s implementation strategies
- Define and craft proof of concept applications based on prospective customer business requirements
- Support and deliver presentations, training, and workshops at marketing events
- Work closely with sales and marketing to define and develop internal and external product solution marketing resources
- Work closely with the products team to identify and position key capabilities with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop in-depth technical knowledge of VertiGIS Studio products and their value proposition
- Educate sales and partner staff on the business value of VertiGIS Studio and GIS enabled architecture and solutions
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in a similar or related role
- Experience/aptitude for Product Management, Product Marketing, or Technical Presales with a software company
- Experience working with various key stakeholders throughout an organization including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Professional Services
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to present information well to various audiences
- Business analysis or solution architecture experience
- Understanding of geography, GIS, and Esri technology
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Diploma/degree in computer science, software engineering, geomatics, business administration, or related discipline would be an asset
- Development experience using VertiGIS Studio technology would be an asset
