This role will provide technical expertise in the planning and execution of operations, support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of IT infrastructure
Advanced Solutions is looking for community-minded, energetic, progressive individual to join its HIBC Services business area.
As a part of the consortium team which consists of PBC Solutions, Advanced Solutions provides IMIT services to support the Ministry of Health’s Health Insurance BC (HIBC) Services. Application Requirements
Must Have
• A degree in IT and two years of related experience; or a diploma in IT and 3 years of related experience; or a certificate, program completion, or course work and 4 years of related experience; or 5 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
• Relevant experience must include:
• 2 years’ experience supporting environments with greater than 10 servers and 100 workstations;
• 6 months experience implementing, operating, and managing Windows 2008/12 servers;
• 3 months experience supporting multi-site networks;
• Experience with UNIX, SAP, SMS, Avaya Telephony is desirable;
• Experience with SCCM 2007 or SCCM 2012 is desirable;
• Experience with AdminStudio;
• Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) using VMware Horizon View;
• Experience working with highly sensitive information, where security is paramount is desirable;
• Experience in working in a PCI environment would be an asset; and
o Experience with software packaging and scripting for automated tasks.
• Desired certifications include:
o MCP, MCSA, MCSE
o ITIL Foundations Certified
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Must be willing to work overtime on occasion
• Must be available for call-out during non-scheduled hours on occasion

• Annual Salary: $88,594.02- $101,067.08 (based on a 40 hour work week schedule)
