The Information, Innovation and Technology (IIT) Division is leading the modernization and transformation of business practices for the NRM through continuous improvement projects, new technology options and operational information management/information technology (IM/IT).
The User Experience Practitioner performs all aspects of user research and design, delivering user experiences on scalable digital products, ensuring that the solution meets user and stakeholder needs. This role manages user experience design deliverables for projects involving agile product teams, maintaining the voice of the customer to ensure that user-centered research and design principles are incorporated into technology build strategies. The User Experience Practitioner also conducts user research, sets research objectives, runs test sessions and interprets results using mock-ups, prototypes, user flows, and detailed design specification documents to define and communicate interface concepts and requirements.
Qualifications for this role include:
Degree or diploma or certificate in a design or technology discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience must include:
Demonstrable experience in user interface design processes and methodology, user-centered design principles and practices for over 3 years.
Related experience may include a combination of the following:
- Experience in information architecture or user interface design.
- Experience developing and executing user research plans at all stages of the product lifecycle.
- Experience with modern mock-up and prototyping tools.
