The Discovery Foundation is dedicated to fostering the growth of British Columbia's tech sector through education, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Their Technology Education Program (TEP) equips tech entrepreneurs with essential business skills to transform ideas into commercial successes. They also offer scholarships for students in tech programs and fund research in greentech/cleantech and diversity in tech. With over $4.3 million raised and nearly 44,000 attendees impacted, the Foundation provides invaluable support to BC’s tech innovators.

Additionally, Discovery Foundation has partnered with Spring to offer the Discovery Foundation Essentials in Startup Investment program for BC Health ventures. Running from July to December 2024, this self-paced program features group sessions and mentoring, including a session on employment law with Porta Law on September 19, 2024. The program is tailored to support Indigenous and gender-diverse founders in the health sector.
