Camosun College Information and Computer Systems Capstone Project Submissions are being accepted.
Camosun College Information and Computer Systems Capstone Project Submissions are being accepted.
The Information and Computer Systems Students are about to embark on their final term which means their final project which means we are accepting Capstone Projects submissions.
The process has changed some with the students now forming teams and selecting projects throughout the Winter term (Jan – April). Students starting working on the projects during the summer term (May - Aug) ending with a showcase in August. Students are only working on their Capstone Projects throughout the summer term unlike before they were trying to balance a modern approach to software development while taking 5 other courses.
There is no cost to submit a proposal and you may submit as many as you like. However, if you are selected as a sponsor there is a request for a symposium contribution and a commitment to spend a couple of hours every week with your student team to work on the/each project.
If you are interested in submitting a project proposal or know someone who might be, go to http://capstone.camosun.bc.ca and check out the information in the Handbook document and submit your project proposal by February 2, 2020.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitation to contact me for more information.
