Victoria, BC – August 7th, 2024 - W Venture proudly announces the launch of its groundbreaking program, W Venture Growth, aimed at accelerating women-led tech ventures to rapid and sustainable growth. This innovative year-long program, commencing September 23, 2024, is designed to provide unmatched access to resources, mentorship, and a vibrant community of ambitious women entrepreneurs. W Venture Growth is made possible thanks to funding support from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP). W Venture Growth is a response to the underrepresentation of women in the tech sector and aims to change the landscape by providing tailored support to 20 high-potential women-led ventures across British Columbia. Despite the increasing number of women starting businesses, only 19.6% of SMEs in Canada are owned by women, and just 1 in 5 scale-ups are women-owned. W Venture Growth is committed to addressing this disparity.

The program is a catalyst for rapid growth, featuring high-impact Growth Pods that drive strategic expansion and innovation. Participants receive direct, actionable mentorship from top CEOs, Monthly Accountability Groups keep ventures on track, while quarterly CEO-led strategy sessions provide sharp focus on key priorities and market strategies. Leadership Long Tables offer a powerful platform for knowledge exchange and professional growth.
