About the VIATEC Award

The VIATEC Award is given to a Computer Systems Technology student in their 3rd or 4th term who demonstrates high academic achievement, exceptional computing skills, excellent working relationships with colleagues, and strong communication abilities. Bobby embodies all these qualities and more.

Bobby's Unique Journey

With ten years of experience as a sous chef, he has honed his leadership and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure environments. Now, he’s applying those skills to computer programming, focusing on software management and network basics.

In his own words, Bobby shared:

"I am truly grateful for this recognition and would like to thank VIATEC for this incredible honour. This award highlights my dedication to academic excellence, deep understanding of technology, and commitment to fostering collaboration and clear communication. A heartfelt thank you to my professors, fellow students, and mentors for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout my studies."
