Local Ukrainians ask Victoria Tech Community for Help
Local Ukrainians (including members of our tech community) are asking for donations of much needed equipment from Victoria tech companies and workers.
In response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, local Ukrainians (including members of our tech community) are asking for donations of vital tech tools from Victoria tech companies and workers.
Faced with overwhelming odds, the people of Ukraine continue to bravely hold on and repel the attacks. However they are in desperate need of reconnaissance and quality communications tools and hope our tech community will donate much needed equipment.
To help with this, the Ukrainian Cultural Centre is asking for donations of critical items in good working condition including:
- Used or new drones (anything above toy grade)
- Portable radios (professional grade)
- Rugged laptops (protected from impact, moisture, dust)
Every item donated greatly increases the survivability of Ukrainian troops defending their country and has the potential to save multiple lives.
Donations can be dropped off at:
Ukrainian Cultural Centre (UCC)
3277 Douglas St, Victoria, BC
Daily, Tuesday – Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm
