Get ready to party and nominate your tech heroes for the VIATEC Community Awards, happening on November 30th, 2023! We're turning up the fun with a Costume Masquerade Ball at Carson Hall, Victoria Conference Centre, 720 Douglas Street.

Nominations are officially open, and it's your time to shine! Whether you're part of an awesome tech startup, a well-established tech giant, or you're just a tech wizard working your magic, we want to hear your story. Make your nominations before October 27th, 2023, and let's get the celebration started!

For over 22 years, the VIATEC Community Awards (formerly known as the VIATEC Awards) have been the tech scene's favourite soirée. Hosted by VIATEC, Victoria's top tech industry association, this event has always been the highlight of the year, uniting tech aficionados and out-of-town visitors.

But here's the exciting part: VIATEC has teamed up with other tech-loving organizations to refresh the award categories and emphasize inclusivity. This year, we're on a mission to make everyone in the tech community feel right at home. That means, no matter which tech tribe you belong to, you're invited to nominate your tech heroes.

The coalition worked together to update and refine the award categories and recipients will now be chosen by either a panel of delegates from the coalition or audience polling at the event itself.

The VIATEC Community Awards are where Victoria's tech community comes together to connect, celebrate, and shine a spotlight on the year's most impressive tech companies and individuals in the thriving $4 billion tech sector.

But remember, it's not all business; we're throwing a Costume Masquerade Ball, and you're invited to come as your tech alter ego. Here's a sneak peek of the evening's agenda:

5:00-6:00 pm: Welcome, Networking, and Table Seating

6:00 pm: Creative Challenge and Dinner

7:00 pm: Awards Show Begins
