Ocean Networks Canada signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Hanwha Ocean

The agreements were announced during Hanwha’s BC Innovation Day held in Victoria, British Columbia, which brought together more than 250 participants representing over 100 companies, organizations and institutions from Canada and Korea.

Ocean Networks Canada (ONC) was pleased to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hanwha Ocean. This MOU signifies their shared commitment to advancing ocean research and technology.

Partnering with Hanwha Ocean is an exciting step that connects ONC with new international partners and expands our ability to drive innovation in Arctic ocean science. As a world leader in ocean monitoring, ONC looks forward to seeing how this collaboration may bolster their ocean technology observing capabilities.

ONC has been monitoring the Arctic Ocean since 2012 in partnership with Inuit communities and other key partners.
