New Ventures BC announced the Top 25 startups advancing in the 2026 New Ventures BC Competition, following a highly competitive round. [The list includes three Victoria-based companies.]
The New Ventures BC Competition is the largest and longest-running tech competition in BC, offering education, coaching and awarding $250,000 and prizes to BC startups.
The annual competition attracts BC's most promising early-stage startups for six months of mentorship, education, and high-profile exposure within the province's innovation ecosystem.
Last week, the non-profit organization hosted the Round 2.5 Pitch Event, where 30 startups pitched to a panel of expert judges. Each venture demonstrated their product, sharing how it addresses market needs, leverages a viable business model, and creates a clear path toward revenue.
