Representing the strength and diversity of Victoria’s tech community from some of VIATEC’s strongest members

VICTORIA, BC (September 26, 2025) - The Victoria Innovation, Advanced Technology and Entrepreneurship Council (VIATEC) held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Fort Tectoria on September 25, 2025. It was a full house with many non-members also showing up to learn more about VIATEC. Following the AGM, attendees filled the space with networking chatter and had the opportunity to learn more about upcoming events, initiatives and membership. 

VIATEC thanks everyone who submitted a nomination and we congratulate those who were newly elected and re-elected. A special thank you to Jennifer Hartfield, BCI who has completed her service in helping shape the future of this community.

It’s the most momentum we’ve enjoyed since before the pandemic, and we’re channeling it toward our mission to cultivate the most cohesive tech community in the world.”
