In this session we will provide a series of real world examples of how implicit bias around race, sex, gender and sexuality shape research and development and how this impacts tech users.

In this session we make the case for why incorporating DEI into the world of tech makes for better products and better companies.

We've partnered with Leah Shumka, Manager of Sexualized Violence Education, Prevention and Support at the faculty of Equity and Human Rights, UVic to explore DEI in an interactive format with actionable next steps.
