Powered by the Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria (ICA), the Greater Victoria Local Immigration Partnership (GVLIP) and the City of Victoria are pleased to invite you to the GVLIP Summit 2022, "Diversity Works! Immigration & Employment in the Capital Region.”


Join us to:

  • Gain a better understanding of local labour market challenges, employment barriers for immigrant job seekers, and the opportunities that are generated by a diverse workforce.
  • Obtain concrete and innovative information on how to recruit, hire, and retain immigrants and other diverse talents.
  • Network around equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives in the region.
  • Celebrate successes and learn from mistakes.

Speakers

Our plenary speaker is Patrick MacKenzie, CEO of the Immigrant Employment Council of BC. Patrick has made a career of public service from coast to coast, working in policy and program areas aimed at supporting many of Canada’s most vulnerable communities through economic and social development as well as international relations.
