Overview:
Emerging and high growth companies will have to navigate the complexities of term sheets when raising early stage and growth stage capital and when considering an M&A exit. Founders must understand how to structure a term sheet, negotiate the term sheet with a view to ensuring a smooth path to closing and to make decisions on value-add partnerships with the right investors and possible acquirers. Riley Graydon and Jacob Young, lawyers in Osler’s Emerging and High Growth Companies Group, will lead a session to discuss these considerations throughout the lifecycle of a technology venture.
