The Net and Paddle Experience: A Truth & Reconciliation Workshop

This one-day offering creates a healing container to explore colonialism and resilience through the stories of First Nations Elders, Alex and Nella Nelson. Through this workshop participants will learn about colonialism as a system, and about the systems transformation that’s needed to achieve reconciliation and decolonization. The workshop deals with difficult truths, and at the end, will leave participants hopeful, empowered, and inspired with actionable next steps to creating positive change in themselves and their communities.
