Join Black Press November 24th from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Comox Community Centre for our annual Career & Education Event. This opportunity offers 5 weeks of marketing throughout Nanaimo, Parksville, Comox, Campbell River, Port Hardy, Bella Bella, Port Alice and Port McNeill. 

Black Press is committed to investing $100,000 dollars through a unique blend of marketing assets; social, digital, print and radio promoting your event to increase attendance. Your customized bundle includes 5 weeks of advertising: 

Bonus for those who sign up early - Your company logo and website appearing for up to 4 weeks in all promotional activity prior to the event in 5 community newspapers; Comox Valley Record, Parksville Qualicum News, Campbell River Mirror and the North Island Gazette, Nanaimo News Bulletin (86,884+ copies per week) and on 8 digital host paper sites (more than 3.1 million monthly page views) through event advertising, which clicks through to the Black Press events page. 

Social post/boost (4 Weeks): Targeting passive and active job seekers in your community and surrounding communities while they engage on Facebook. (Posts based on package purchased.) 

A full colour print ad (1 Week): To appear in the Black Press print supplement reaching 72,579+ homes collectively through Comox Valley Record, Campbell River Mirror, and the North Island Gazette. An additional 200 copies of the supplement will be distributed and available for pickup at the Black Press Career and Post-Secondary Education Event (72,759 + circ.) (Size based on package purchased.) 

Digital (30 Days): Your current job opportunities listed digitally for 30 days targeting communities on the Black Press branded career website www.localwork.ca and all Black Press host newspapers career pages surrounding the Black Press Career and Post-Secondary Education Event. Your job vacancies will also appear on The Black Press Career and Post-Secondary Education social page. (Number based on package purchased.) 

Black Press Events page (4 weeks): Company name, logo and current job vacancies hosted on the Black Press Events page. (events.blackpress.ca) 

Event day advertised (2 Weeks): Event hosted on 97.3 The Eagle, 106.9 The Wolf, 102.3 The Wave and 99.9 The Lounge local radio stations driving awareness about the event. 

Social media representation (4 Weeks): Logo page and current vacancies hosted on The Black Press Career and Post-Secondary Education Event page and all North Vancouver Island Facebook pages, a combined 100,239+ likes and followers.
