Futureproof Festival is a three-day Vancouver AI culture festival presented by the BC + AI Ecosystem Association. It brings artists, engineers, educators, ethicists, filmmakers, founders, students, policy people, researchers, and community leaders into one shared arc: critique and curiosity together, practical work beside culture, and a serious conversation about what AI is doing to our communities.
What you'll experience:
• A focused founding-room AI festival for BC's tech, creative, education, public-interest, and startup communities.
• Talks and conversations on AI ethics, youth and education, medicine, creative AI, filmmaking, and what builders are shipping now.
• Working sessions, hackathon demos, sponsor demo tables, and practical community-building around responsible AI adoption.
• The 2nd Annual BC + AI Film Festival and a creative AI wrap party, included with Festival Pass.
• High-signal networking for people building, governing, teaching, funding, and living with AI in the local tech sector.

Friday, October 30, 2026: program day begins at 9:30 AM and closes with hackathon demos, community moments, the Futureproof 2027 reveal, and a creative AI wrap party.
