INSPIRE 2025 Annual Conference and Professional Networking Event

INSPIRE 2025 Annual Conference and Professional Networking Event

Thursday, December 18, 2025 (3:00 PM - 7:00 PM) (PST)

Description

The INSPIRE Conference centers on The Future of Work in the Era of AI, bringing together industry leaders, community partners, and faculty for an afternoon of learning, discussion, and connection. Attendees will hear two lightning talks from notable figures in Victoria’s tech sector:

• Mike Anderson (Intlabs Inc.) on AI’s evolving role in organizational workflows, and
•
John Oram (VeilStream) on how AI is reshaping software development practices.

A signature feature of the event is the opportunity to meet INSPIRE’s emerging student talent: teams who have spent the past four months building real-world, community-focused software solutions. Their work reflects strong technical skills, professionalism, and creativity, offering industry guests a valuable chance to connect with prospective future hires who already have experience delivering impactful projects.Alongside student showcases, the conference provides abundant opportunities to network with industry peers who support local innovation and community-driven technology initiatives.

General admission tickets are free, with the additional option to register through a donation that directly supports INSPIRE’s work with students and community. Seating is limited, register soon via the event link
