OKGN Angel Summit
OKGN Angel Summit
Thursday, March 18, 2021 (4:30 PM - 7:30 PM) (PDT)
Description
Powered by Accelerate Okanagan, the OKGN Angel Summit is a 10-week program designed to educate investors and startup companies from across British Columbia.
Through a guided process, angel investors receive training around the investment and due diligence process.
THE FINALE:
On March 18, the 6 remaining companies will make their final pitches to the investors and the public on Remo. After an opening address, the founders will deliver their 5-minute presentation followed by a Q&A with investors. There will be a networking break halfway through the pitches.
After the pitches, there will be an opportunity for the public to vote for their favourite pitch to win the People’s Choice Award. Once voting has concluded, there will be a networking break and a keynote speech from Dragons’ Den’s Arlene Dickinson on her entrepreneurial journey.
During Arlene’s talk, the investors will deliberate on the final round of pitches and announce which company will take home the $145,000 investment.
