Summer Accelerator for High School Students (Beginner)
Monday, August 9, 2021 10:00 AM - Friday, August 13, 2021 4:00 PM (PDT)
Description
The E2 Innovation Accelerator is a Beginner 5-day online course for any B.C. high school student aged 14-18 (Grades 9-12). Limited to 20 students, youth that have a passion for business, technology and community are invited to design and build a premium bot to address challenges faced by teenaged users of the popular chat platform Discord. The Accelerator combines the success of Junior Achievement’s (JA) Company Program and UVic’s HighTechU Skills Academy Program, where students will develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) while learning technical and professional skills related to engineering and entrepreneurship alongside mentors from the B.C. technology and business communities.
