UX + Dev + PM, like stools, product teams require the right balance. We - Sam Fraser, Sr. Product Designer (UX), and Sarah Smith, Sr. Product Manager (PM) - will define and discuss how to create balance between PM and UX, so your product team can thrive.

Presenters:

Sam Fraser is a UX Designer and Researcher at Workday, moderately-crazy cat mom, and wife to an astronomer. She's had 14 addresses in 3 countries since 2004, and this is her third time living in Victoria. Currently focused on digital customer engagement platforms, she has also worked on conversational design for virtual assistants, insurance systems, and more. Sarah Smith is a Senior Product Manager at Workday. Sarah’s magic power is taking in vague, conceptual goals and teasing out the underlying customer or user value for her teams to deliver. She strongly believes that the product manager really should bring the donuts, both literally and metaphorically, and that just about any concept can be explained with a good analogy.
