Interested in hiring students from underrepresented groups? Looking to increase your organization’s diversity?

Join UVic’s International, Indigenous and Accessibility (IIA) Co-op team to learn how developing your business’ cultural intelligence will help you become an employer of choice for the emerging student workforce. We’ll cover strategies and considerations to help you engage with Indigenous and international students, as well as students with accessibility needs. You’ll gain practical insights in inclusive hiring and retention practices from a Cultural Intelligence perspective.

Presenters include:

  • David Busch, Indigenous Co-op & Career Coordinator
  • Niels Melis-De Lamper, Accessibility and Inclusion Co-op & Career Coordinator
  • Karima Ramji, Associate Director of IIA and certified advanced Cultural Intelligence trainer
