About Our Speaker

Hussien Ali Ballouk Hernandez is a PhD researcher in condensed matter physics at UVic, specializing in nanotechnology, electron microscopy, and computational modelling. His work combines physics and AI to push the boundaries of imaging and material science. Beyond academia, Hussien co-founded AI-driven startups and creates science content in Spanish, blending technical expertise with a passion for making complex ideas accessible.
