Are you new to Victoria and looking to expand your personal and professional network? Join us for a virtual networking event, specially designed for newcomers like you! Whether you’re a recent graduate, an experienced professional, or simply wanting to connect with like-minded individuals with similar interests and make new friends, this event is for you.
Your host, Sue Maitland has been welcoming newcomers to Victoria for many years. She’s a professional life coach who helps people make inspired life and career transitions. She has a niche in her coaching practice focused on helping newcomers make a smooth transition to Victoria. Sue moved here over 30 years ago and loves this city. What to Expect
You can be assured that you’ll find this virtual event to be a warm and welcoming environment for you to connect with others.
Everyone will have a chance to briefly introduce themselves, share a little about their background, when they arrived in Victoria and the type of connections they’d like to make.
Depending on the number of participants, we may move into smaller virtual breakout rooms where you’ll have the chance to get to know a few of your fellow participants even better. You’ll be provided with conversation starters to get things going.
We’ll wrap up the event with Sue sharing her top tips for a successful move to Victoria of experiences and Sue will answer any questions you might have.
