The Position

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to play a key role on our Finance team and help ensure things continue to run smoothly and efficiently. This is a great opportunity to build on your existing experience and take your accounting career to the next level. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting projects and be involved in full cycle accounting.

Flexibility and a meticulous eye for detail are both must-haves in this role. We are looking for a stellar team-player who can help drive initiatives forward. 

Responsibilities

•  Monthly client billing
•  Reviewing and collecting outstanding receivables
•  Setup travel expense account for new employees and assist other employees with travel expenses submission
•  Accurately entering and coding invoices, employee expense reports and corporate credit cards and ensuring timely payment of all payables
•  Coordinate timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices
•  Assisting in month end cycles
•  Weekly bank reconciliation
•  Weekly and monthly cash forecasts
•  Various sales tax compliance reporting and remittances
•  Payroll support
•  Prepare audit materials as requested for external auditors

Requirements

•  Excellent judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills
•  High level of accuracy and attention to detail
•  Ability to balance multiple priorities, in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
•  Possess an understanding and experience in full cycle accounting
•  Advanced proficiency with Excel Experience with payroll and payroll processors (primarily ADP) is an asset
•  Comfortable using various computer and web-based applications in a work/office environment
•  Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/CRM is an asset
•  5+ years accounting experience in a similar environment is ideal
•  Completion or near completion of an accounting designation preferred
