Your Role: As a Hardware Engineer at Quester Tangent, you will design and implement hardware systems and components for our products. Working within a cross-disciplinary team, you’ll develop integrated solutions that combine hardware and software to meet our high standards of quality and performance.

How You Will Spend Your Time: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for hardware designs, processes, and test procedures. Implement hardware as outlined in the product architectural design, detailed design, and requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product owners, to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components. Perform product testing. Evaluate and select components, materials, and suppliers to optimize product performance and cost-efficiency. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Support other team members when issues arise during development, production, or in the field, and assist with problem-solving as required.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

Must-Have: Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience. Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with electrical design software and tools, such as Altium Designer, SPICE, or equivalent. Capable of understanding schematics, drawings, specifications, and test procedures. Strong bench and HW debugging skills.

Nice-to-Have: Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design, embedded systems, and power electronics. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as IEC, EN, and IEEE. Knowledge of hardware design and testing for EMI/EMC compliance. Knowledge of electrical and software system architecture.
