About Us: As an industry-leading Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) service provider based in Victoria, BC, Bekatec Online Solutions Inc. has been serving large enterprises with AEM content management, AEM front-end implementation, and large-scale website migration services for over ten years, and has been in business for almost thirty years.

• Initially founded in Germany in 1996 as a small IT startup serving large enterprise organizations, Bekatec has evolved into a 100% remote global team of 60+ professionals in three countries (Germany, Slovakia, and Canada) and currently manages over 400 complex brand websites around the globe in both the on-prem and cloud-based Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environment. In 2020, Bekatec made the strategic decision to expand its services to North American clients and established an independent subsidiary in Victoria, British Columbia. Led by industry veteran Paul Deman, Bekatec continues to focus on providing AEM content management services for large enterprises throughout Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Front-End Design and Development: Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into responsive, interactive web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.  Create, update, and optimize AEM components and editable page templates to support dynamic, high-performance websites.
• Ensure that web pages are responsive, accessible, and optimized for search engines, adhering to best practices in web development.
• Back-End Integration: Implement and manage back-end services using Java, Sling, OSGi, and RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with front-end components and third-party services.
• Server-Side Integrations: Implement and manage server-side integrations, ensuring secure and efficient data processing and storage.
• AEM CI/CD Pipelines: Contribute to the setup, maintenance, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines in AEM, ensuring streamlined and automated deployments.
• System Configuration: Configure AEM systems to meet the specific needs of projects, including setting up environments, managing permissions, and tuning performance settings.
• Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve technical issues as they arise, using strong problem-solving skills to maintain smooth and efficient project progress.

Qualifications:

• 4+ Years Experience
• Experience in development in AEM, including AEM as a Cloud Service. This includes the development of components and editable page templates. 
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
• Experience with backend technologies such as Java, Sling, OSGi, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with integrating AEM with third-party services and APIs.
• Strong understanding of web development best practices, including responsive design and SEO.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, principles, practices, and methodologies. 
• Experience with Server-Side integrations
• Experience AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with System Configuration
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience showcasing enterprise-level brands is a significant plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in AEM or related Adobe products.
• Familiarity with Adobe Target, Adobe Journey Analytics, Adobe Analytics
• Familiarity with Adobe Commerce
• Experience in automated content migration tools
• Bilingual (Fluency in French and English)
